Certified CyLawCom Examiners
(Version 2004)Prospectus
Cyber Law College has promoted the concept of CyLawCom
Certification for Corporate entities to ensure better compliance of Cyber Law in
the business processes of any organization.
In order to develop the manpower
resource for conducting CyLawCom audits and also to prepare the Companies for
such Certification, Cyber Law College is conducting an examination for the
qualification of "Certified CyLawCom Examiners".
"Certifed
CyLawCom Examiners" are expected to have the triple skills of the knowledge of
Cyber Law, Knowledge of the Technological aspects of Information Security and
the skills of Audit.
The examination will consist of the
following two papers:
Paper I : Cyber Law
Paper II: Technical
Security of Information Assets
The syllabus for the paper is given elsewhere in this
document.
The examination can be taken by any person upon
payment of the necessary examination fee.
Successful
candidates will be awarded the Certificate.
No Grades will be
issued. Success in the examination will be determined on the basis of a minimum
Cut off score in each of the two papers. The minimum cut off in each of the
papers will be determined on the basis of the collective performance in the
respective paper of all candidates appearing in the examination
Who should take this Course?
This course is meant for IT professionals who would
like to specialize in Techno Legal Cyber Security and be engaged as CyLawCom
Certifiers of Corporates. Law.
Eligibility Criteria:
The Course is recommended for graduates in
any discipline and particularly professionals with experience in the E-Business
or IT discipline. Chartered Accountants and Lawyers may find the Course
complimenting their professional work.
However no
mandatory qualification is prescribed.
Before taking up the examination, applicants are requested to study
the Syllabus and decide their own requirement and capability for taking up the
examination.

Examination Fee:
The fee for appearing for the examination towards becoming a "Certified
CyLawCom Examiner" is Rs 5000/-.
Admission Procedure:
At the time of registration, prospective students
have to make the payment of the Course fee along with the full particulars of
the Student such as his/her Name, Address, Qualification etc. To Register for
the Examination Complete the application form
available here.
Provisional Registration:
In order to provide guidance to candidates intending to
appear for the examination, persons who complete certain criteria will be
registered as "Provisional CyLawCom Examiners".
The following
persons shall be eligible for registration as "Provisonal CyLawCom Examiners" on
payment of a registration fee of Rs 1000/-
a) Graduates from any recognized University with
qualification of BE or BCA or B Sc-IT/Computer Science
b) Certified members of of ICAI / ICS
c) Graduates from any recognized University or Law
School with a Degree in Law
d) Persons with a Diploma or Degree in Cyber Law
from any institution in India conducting a Degree, Diploma or Certification
Course in this subject if any.
e) Persons who have completed any of the Certificate
Course in Cyber Law College.
Cyber Law College will provide necessary online guidance to
the registered "Provisional CyLawCom Examiners" in preparing for the final
examination.
Intending persons may register using the application form
available for down load here.
Provisional registration is not mandatory for those appearing
for the Examination directly.
Payment Procedure:
1.Through Demand Draft payable to M/S Ujvala Consultants Pvt Ltd
at Chennai, India and sent by mail to Ujvala Consultants Pvt Ltd, 11/10, R
E Apartments, Unnamalai Ammal Street, T.Nagar, Chennai, 600017. The DD
charges can be deducted from the Fees.
2.Payment online through
Naavi's
Payment Center. (By Purchase of Naavi's Payment Receipts of the
requisite value)
