Prospectus

Certificate in Cyber Laws for Teen Agers represents a new thinking in "Teen Age Education". This is a Course meant to provide an understanding of  the legal risks of Internet usage at an appropriate age.

The need for such a course has been highlighted by the Delhi Bal Bharati School Case where a 16 year student was charged under ITA-2000 and was rusticated from school. He is also in the danger of facing  a prison sentence of upto 5 years.

In the light of this development it is felt that our education system which teaches Internet to the students at the pre-college days does not adequately prepare the students to be "Responsible Cyber Citizens". This course is meant to inculcate the knowledge about "Cyber Crimes" and inter alia build some awareness about behavioural aspects that lead to negative behaviour in the society.

The course would be a unique blend of Law, Technology and Behavioural sciences. In view of the social purpose behind the course, it is offered at an exceptionally confessional fee.

Who should take this course?

This course is meant for students in the +2 or under graduate level who want to be Responsible Netizens. The Parents and School administration may encourage their students to undergo this course so that when they grow up, they would atleast be aware of how to use their Computer knowledge for the betterment of the society.

How the Course is Conducted:

-The Course is normally expected to be completed in 12 weeks. 

-On completion of Registration and  Receipt of the payment, the first lesson would be sent by e-mail. Subsequently the lessons would be sent by e-mail at weekly intervals. 

-Periodical Interactive sessions would be arranged where students can interact with the faculty through Chat sessions. 

-Individual queries would be addressed through e-mail and a private message board will be provided for each student. 

-At the end of the Course, all students would be given a Certificate of Completion.
